You've heard the rumor about the post office taxing e-mail. It's not true.
Following is a letter I received from Senator Grassley, along with a letter on the subject that he received from Deborah Willhite, the postal department's Senior Vice President for Government Relations. Also is an official press release on the subject.
Please take the time to read them and forward them (or the link) to your friends and others who may be perpetuating the hoax.
